Red Rock Canyon is about hour and a half hour north of Los Angeles, however if you are not looking for it you could drive right through it!! It is right off of the 14 freeway.. We pulled off to the visitor center however due to budget cuts it was not open however there where several great places to take photos and some great hiking areas....Super cool rock formations, the weather was perfect however I can see it getting super hot here in the summer months... Cool place to check out!!!
